Given the extended period of wet weather it is likely that the wetland will be closed to the public for some time. Fivebough Swamp is two kilometres north-east of Leeton, New South Wales. The wetlands contain a habitat of exceptional quality for water birds, particularly waders. Around 174 different species of bird have been observed at Fivebough to date. Call into Leeton Visitors Information Centre prior to visiting to obtain maps and local bird information.
